She wasn’t just a dog; she was the radiant beacon in Courtney’s world. Together, they embarked on a journey of love, adventure, and unwavering companionship.

From the scenic beauty of Puerto Rico to the dynamic landscapes they encountered traveling from the east coast to the west in their cherished RV, Halle was Courtney's steadfast co-pilot. Despite her small size and as the years took a toll on her little legs, Halle never missed a beat thanks to her special "Halle bag". Carried lovingly by Courtney, she continued to see the world and be a part of countless adventures. And, oh, how they both loved the beach! Halle would roll joyfully in the sand, getting into every nook and cranny, and then lie down, zenned out, basking under the sun's warm embrace.

Their bond, strengthened by each mile traveled and every sandy beach visited, was truly special. It's no surprise that Halle was adored and loved by every soul she met on her journey. But her fierce loyalty was reserved for Courtney. From protecting her to the playful squeals during bed-making or her quirky love for dirty socks, Halle's presence was larger than life.

Courtney often said that she couldn’t imagine a home without the love and warmth Halle brought into it. That's why, 16 years ago, Courtney adopted her, filling a space in her heart that she hadn't realized was empty.

But life has its unexpected turns. Halle's sudden departure from this world, crossing over the rainbow bridge due to unforeseen kidney failure, has left Courtney grappling with an unimaginable void. She feels as if she has lost her shadow, her home echoing with the memories of her beloved companion. The heartbreak of losing her best friend of 16 years is compounded by the unforeseen medical expenses.
